What you’re looking at in the photo above is a (partial) page of the Japanese Snow Bros. Jr. GameBoy instruction manual.
As is often the case with Japanese GameBoy manuals, the one made for Snow Bros. Jr. is wonderful. Not only is it filled with lovely illustrations, but it features a multi-page comic, too.
Curious to check it out in all its yellow-tinged glory? See this blog post of mine: “Manual Stimulation: Snow Bros. Jr. (GameBoy)”
Don’t worry if you don’t know a lick of Japanese. Dave Edwards, a reader of my blog, recently (and kindly) volunteered to translate the entire contents of the Snow Bros. Jr. manual’s text into English. Enjoy the fruits of his labor here.

I saw this scene and just HAD to compare him to his 24yr old self. Time really does fly.
